Where can I buy Organic Cotton filling for stuffed animals?

  1. I suggest you reconsider using organic cotton.  Organic vegetables are not any healthier, and the cotton isnt even for consumption.  It takes lots more land to raise cotton organically because not using pesticides etc. is less efficient.  If everyone demanded organic products we would have to cut down a staggering amount of forest land to make crop fields due to organic farming's much lower yield.  Doesn't sound enviro friendly to me at all.

  3. Organic cotton is free of chemicals but still uses loads of water (about 22 tons of water for 3 lbs of organic cotton when irrigated).

    Best green solution would be to use unwanted clothes that could be shredded for stuffing the animals. They will have been washed many times so all the chemicals on the garments should have been washed off.
