I need shredded hashbrowns for a recipe, but so far I have only come across patties, cubed, and every other type of hashbrown BUT what I need. For those of you who live in the New York City area, can you please point me in the right direction?

  1. Get them at your nearest grocery store! Say like, Albertson's and stuff. It's all frozen and near the fries and stuff.

  2. Pathmark carries shredded hashbrowns in the frozen section.

But it is easy to make them also like another answer stated.

  3. Go to a good clean diner but be ready to pay they will be fresh.

  4. All you need is a cheese grater and some potatoes. They are really easy to make. If you are needing them for a recipe as a topping you can grate them and microwave them for about 3 minutes to soften them.

  5. Food Emporium carries frozen Simply Potatoes Shredded Hashbrowns

(to view, click Frozen, click Vegetables, click Potatoes)

Stop'NShop carries McCain's frozen shredded hash brown potatoes

A&P carries America's Choice frozen shredded hash browns

  6. How about making them, very easy
