Where can I buy a 5 lb chocolate bar?

I want to buy it for a friend as a birthday gift, but I dont know where i can get it. Ordering from the internet is not an option. Does anyone know where I can get one, and how much they cost?

well i would order it from the internet but if thats not a option then i have NO clue!! sounds yummy though(if u find one your friend is lucky)!!

Hershey makes a 5 lb. milk chocolate bar and it measures 18" x 9" x 1".  Cost from what I can tell is around $35.  Depending on where you live, since ordering online is not an option for you, I think will determine how easy it is to find one.  I suggest calling a local chocolate store (Chocolate Tree, See's, and so  on) and check if they carry one, or if they could special order one for you. Also I agree with checking out Walmart, Target, or a party supply store and see if they have them,and again if not, can they special order one. But if that is no help, then maybe make your own.  If the 5 lb. Hershey one measures 18" x 9" x 1" then line a mold you can make out of a box ( or whatever) with wax paper, melt 5 lbs. of chocolate and pour into your mold. I do suggest to let it set at room temperature vs. using the fridge to speed it up... in the long run it sets much better.  If you make your own... try to keep it no thicker than an inch so it can actually be eaten.  (you'll need to buy is 10 boxes of chocolate square...  like Bakers semi- sweet baking chocolate squares... 8- 1oz. portions per box... you  might want to add an extra square or 2 to make-up for the chocolate that will stick to the sides during melting) Good luck

Wal-Mart, they sell everything. And if that dose not work buy 10 normal size chocolate bars, melt them in to a rectangle pan and frezze it, rap it in tin foil, then print off a label from the computer and now you have a 5lb. chocolate bar! xoxo -michelle

You can always find any chocolate of any type at a Hershey's chocolate store. That I know as a fact. They have 15 pound chocolate bars!
