Where can I buy a 6 volt 500 mA Sealed Lead Acid battery charger in Toronto?

Preferably with a 2.1 mm dc connector, 6 foot cable. I went by Magnacharge today in Mississauga, but they had nothing for me.

I think it is important to get a two-stage (also called automatic) charger because these cut down the current flow after a certain electrical feedback comes up, so the battery does not overcharge.  If you use a timer, it does not matter, as you set the total charge time.



You could just read the ad, and see what the product is, and then shop locally.  Look also at universal chargers that provide 6 volt output.  They will have multiple-connectors, so you may find exactly what you want.

Canadian Tire and Tiger Direct have a good selection of chargers, and should have what you want.

The universal chargers are definitely available at Canadian Tire, Tiger Direct, and The Source, and you will likely also find them at Futureshop or Best Buy, and maybe Home Depot, Home Hardware and Rona stores.
