on http://amazon, with the 18-55mm lens, it's about 830$, which i'm sure is the cheapest you can get it. If you mean body only, sure you could get it for under 799$, you'll have ten dollars to save, they should sell them at your walmart, or 47th street photo, which is in new york.

However, if your referring to getting a kit for less than 799$, it would be very unlikely. See, businesses have to make a profit, and they can't be expected to reduce their prices for anyone, and amazon.com, doens't make alot of profit, so i'm sure that in new york you can't get it for less than 840$,

Don't worry though, you don't have that much more to save, you almost there, i mean there's no harm is waiting a little longer right ?
