  1. Go to this site: usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?...&fc...

You can find retail store in the area nearest you. Find the retail store you need for your specific product using the Where to Buy Site Map.

  2. A few places, Best Buy, Future Shop, Black's Photography or Henry's.

It helps to go to each place see what they are offering, some will offer just basic lense and the body of the camera for an okay price. Where other places will have the KIT which will have basic lense, zoom lense and the camera body plus some other c**p.

Look around compare prices and when in doubt haggle with them, 'well such and such a place has this a little cheaper than you, what can you do for me?'

  3. Do they have a Wal-mart in Ontario?

    I got mine at Wal-mart, it's a great camera..

  4. at best buy.

  5. I bought my DSLR from www.shopsunshine.com it's a pretty good website.  The best part is that they package the cameras out so when you buy it you can get a good amount of stuff.  For example I bought a nikon d40 and it came with the lens kit, 2 gig memory card, table tripod, standing tripod, macro lens, telephoto lens, 3 filters, carrying case, traveling case, usb card reader, cleaning supplies all for only 549.99.  Good deal considering it would have cost 200 more in a store.  The best part is that all items are new and the camera and lens come with manufacturer warranties.
