  1. Kris Cutlery sells one.  Their swords are very tough, and cut well.

I own one of their wakizashis and it cuts like a laser.

If the link below doesn't take you right to the sword, it's located under "other weapons".

  2. Korea

  3. i don't know what this means

"Korean or manchurian or mongol swords are based on the chinese jin or double edged staight sword or the dao a curved saber.

You can buy a sword made in korea but historically there isn't such a thing because historically korea didn't exist but was 3 different kingdoms EACH WITH IT'S OWN PREFERENCES"

what does this mean? Korea didn't exist?  Korea has retained it's sovereignty for atleast past 2000 years of written history, except approx. 50 years of occupation by the japanese in 1900's.

infact, if you know any thing about asian history, specially korean history, the 3 kingdoms had very close relationship with japan during these times.  the resulting theory is that many of the Japaneses arts are infact Korean originated by importing and migration of the koreans to Japan.

when Sila conquered other 2 kingdoms, one of the kingdom's (baeje) aristocrats fled to japan to rebuild their strength and regain their homeland, but ended up settling down in Japan.  Many historians have claimed that damiyo (ruling class) are infact what is left over of the resettled aristocrats from korean

any rate, as much as people think the japanese swords were good, it never did them any good as they were never able to defeat or conquer china or korea as they wanted.  Only after the western weapons such as guns and cannon arrived, they were able to do so 1900's.

  4. You can buy it from

    Hope this helps.

  5. There is only one sword identified with any culture in the far east  and that is the japanese katana and companion wakizashi. They are unique in design and no other sword comes close.

Korean or manchurian or mongol swords are based on the chinese jin or double edged staight sword or the dao a curved saber.

You can buy a sword made in korea but historically there isn't such a thing because historically korea didn't exist but was 3 different kingdoms EACH WITH IT'S OWN PREFERENCES
