The AG-HVX200 is a great camcorder, and if you want one that can be used in Germany, you will need the PAL version, as opposed to the NTSC. (PAL is the system used in Europe, China, Australia, etc, and NTSC is the system in the U.S, Canada, Central America, Korea, Japan, the Philippines, etc).

The PAL version of the HVX200 is simply the Panasonic AG-HVX200E. One place I know you can get it is online at www.bhphotovideo.com. Its a great company; they are extremely reliable. However, being that B&H is an American company, the PAL camcorders are a bit more expensive, the HVX200E is $5,700, so you may be able to get it cheaper elsewhere- Just Make sure the company is reliable (you should check it out with the Better Business Bureau- www.bbb.org) and Make Sure It Is the PAL version- the PANASONIC AG-HVX200E.
