Where can I buy a Power Plate machine in Greece?

Question

Firstly, apologies for a non-travel question but I know this section is the only way to reach Greeks. Does anyone know where I can buy a decent home power plate (vibrating plate exercise machine) in Greece?

Non-Greeks are able to answer these questions also, and this forum is not the only one you could use.

Power plate machines are a scam. If we could all vibrate to a better figure and muscular bodies without real exercise or watching our diet, why wouldn't we all have them? I tried a friend's machine a few times, and it just contracts your muscles, giving you the impression something is happening. You can also be shocked by it, which to some people means it's working when it's just shocking you. My friend was faithful to this routine for 3 months, and she looks no different. But we started real exercise, just walking and fly weights and there was a result after only a few weeks.

These types of machines can be purchased for a mere 150 euros, so paying 900 euros is quite overpriced. Most people don't complain or return it to get their money back because they feel embarrassed they fell for something like this, and usually it's past the guarantee period.

If you are set on these machines, I would take the suggestion of other commentators and try it at a gym or workout store first.

and also in shops with gymnastics organ.in the center of athens there are also...i have seen some and i can tell you adresses if you like.

Yep, power plates were alll the rage, just before I left. My physio said that they are useless. However, I would suggest going to a flash gym, and trying one out first. Most gyms give a free trail.
