What i'm looking for is not a replica, instead the plastic toy version. Anyone who knows where to find one please specify where I can find it. I appreciate any accurate responses.

For those who don't know what that is...this is what it looks like:

My thanks to anyone who knows where to find one for a reasonable price. (Preferably under $30 if at all possible)

  1.   These hit the toy stores about 5 years ago and will most likely hit them agian at the end ot he year when the new Star Trek Movie comes out. Playmates made all the differnt Phasers in Working Toy versions, 1.1 scale, I got them, They cost about $12 new and are still for sale on line at Star Trek Stores and sometimes E-Bay. ou can also try the store at the Star Trek Experiance at Harriods in Las Vagas, as they sell a lot of these things still and may sell by mail. Others are made from Resin and are very high tech and cost a lot, stay witht he Playmate, it will do what you want.

  2. Playmates had made some rather "crappy" versions of the dolphin phasers a few years back--

I happened to have found them brand new on Amazon.com

    NEW AND UNTOUCHED

although it says there is only one if you look at the bottom of the page you can also find 2 more along with the version 1 phasers from the series....

Now if you want quality that is definitely going to cost you...

I myself find it hard to believe someone would actually pay 500 for something that doesn't really do anything... but that is a true geek for you..
