I would like to know where I would be able to buy a damaged or in need of repair classic American car which I could turn into a project (in the near future, cash dependant) something along the lines of a late 60's Camaro or Mustang.

Cheers

  1. as previously said ebay, breakers yards also try classic car magazines, auto-trader, local classifieds

google "buy american cars" but click uk sites only and bear in mind they wont come cheap to buy the car or parts.

  2. ebay perhaps

  3. Check here:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

    You can find it.

    Good luck!

  4. I have a '79 Buick Century wagon and an '84 Buick Riviera, both could use some work and I don't need both!.

If you are interested contact me via this site.

  5. Try here:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

    Good luck

  6. Try your local scrap yards.

  7. Your best bet is to search the net for Classic American car dealers in the U.K. There are company's here in the U.K that specialise in classic American cars and often have fixer uppers. However why not import what you want from the states. I bet if you search google you will find a restoration project and you will get the early camaros/mustangs for sure. Its easy to do and cheap even if you do have to pay import tax. This is exactly what i did. Doing a resto project on yank tanks in the U.K ain't easy, as all your parts will need to be imported, but if your handy with the old spanners then its defiantly the way to go. Also check out eBay, i often see project yanks there.

Classic American car magazine is also a good bet

    good luck
