  1. If you want to see if a dead horse looks real, why buy it if you can just look at it and walk away?

    Call your local veterinarian and they might know a local place to go.

    You might not be able to actually buy one, but if you have a valid reason, you could probably ask to look at maybe a stillborn colt. another option would be to find a local vet school and ask where they get their horse cadavers. that channel might be more affective than approaching the breeders, who want to present their horses as being healthy
