Where can I buy a drag racing Christmas tree?

I am trying to set up with a local airstrip some drag races for a day. After clearing with the local authorities and clearing safety hurdles, my next biggest obstacle is where to obtain a Christmas tree and timing system. Any hints/help?

  1. You can look on racingjunk.com.  somtimes they have used timing systems on there.

a cheap alternative is portatree.  just google portatree.  If you call them they may have used systems available.  They are pretty good for a low budget.

accutime, chrondek, and TSI are others that make high end timing systems, however they can be pretty pricey.

the one in the link above is just a novelty sign.  it has no other function than to hang on the wall.

  2. After considerable research on this question all i can say is that if you don't want to make your own then contact NHRA and they might be able to tell you where to purchase them. tech@nhra.com

  3. A drag racing Christmas tree.  How cool.  Your talking about  the drag lights like a Christmas tree right.  Not a car set up to look like a drag car/Christmas tree?
