Where can I buy a full coverage apron?

I have a 1 and 2 year old and get my clothes dirty and stained constantly. I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy an apron that covers more than the traditional ones, especially on the top.

Thanks!

  1. Bed and Bath

    Ebay

  2. Linens N Things?

  3. bed bath n beyond maybe?

  4. check out the beauties on Etsy...I have a weakness for handmade things, and nobody did aprons like the Mama's of the 1950's!

  5. http://www.shopzilla.com/7Z--Home_Garden...

Garden Ridge has them too, if your near one of those :)

  6. To get full coverage aprons now days, the better ones are made by Mennonite / Christian dressmakers. If you google "Plainly Dressed" or "The Kings Daughters you will find very nice pinafore style aprons there. These cover front and back of your dress and I can recomend them from experiance.. There are a few other sites with these aprons try "modest clothing"; "aprons", and you should get some sites to contact, also most of these sites will sew to your size and requirements.

Other than that, as someone has already suggested look for vintage aprons styles on e-bay.

  7. You might opt for a house dress instead - full coverage (but ugly).  I have a pampered chef apron that has an adjustable neck strap that works really well - I'd look for adjustable straps if the house dress sounds awful.  Otherwise, just learn to deal with the stains (that was my final choice).  I went through several wardrobes while my boys were little.

  8. JoAnn's have some right now as well.

  9. your local barbecue and grill store, or if you dont have one go 2 lowes or home depot which ever your town has, though you might have to find one in something like paint section
