Where can I buy a good car for less then $2000?

Question

Requirments:around 20mpg under 80000miles and to be in good shape:)

My goal is to drive that car for the next 3 years...

You can try this car site called AllTheRides.com (http://www.alltherides.com) and look for cars or you can go to an auto forum like Appraisemycar (http://www.appraisemycar.com) to post the same message and see if there is anyone who can help you as it's a forum specifically for cars lovers.

Try looking out for Toyota corolla or camry or Honda civic or accord. Gas efficient and very reliable :)

look in the newspaper / classifieds  but that price is pretty low for 80,000 miles but you should be able to find one

Try going to a car auction. You should be able to get something like that for under $2,000

check out craigslist.com. go to "for sale" and click on "cars/trucks" and search whatever vehicle your interested in. they have some amazing cars for a very cheap price. just keep looking.

U CAN ALSO TRY CAR BUYERS MARKET, IT COMES OUT EVERY THURS OF THE WEEK. MAKE SURE THE DATE ON IT HAS NEXT WEEKS DATE OTHERWISE ITS AN OLD PAPER. TRY BUYLINES TOO. GOOD LUCK.

There's not too many places that you can find a car that is in good shape for that amount. The best thing to do is search in your neighborhood. Or try on-line sources like craigslist or autotrader.com...
