  1. I tried to answer a little while ago, but my laptop died!

So: I bought mine off of http://www.southweststrings.com

There were a lot of good violins at a wide price range, and I really enjoy mine. That site was reccomened to me by many, including my private teacher, who is a excellent violinist who makes a lot of money doing it.

    Good luck!

  2. Please search here. You'll be amazed

    http://www.google.com

    Thanks

  3. I agree with the above answer.  Southwest strings does offer some really great instruments.  Eastman also makes a really fantastic line of student violins.  It's difficult to know what to recommend without knowing your price range or playing level.

Whatever you do, stay away from the 49.99 specials on ebay. ; )

  4. Check here:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i...

You will find what you like!

    Good luck!

  5. Try a local music store in your area, or contact the symphony in your area for more information. You can also ask them whatever they'll take your old one, or give you advice on who's interested.

You may also try craigslist, amazon, overstock, etc.

    Good luck!
