Where can I buy a guitar while in Belize City,Belize, Cozumel, Mexico or Meridia, Mexico(Progresso Yuccatan)?

Question

I'm going on a cruise in a few weeks and as a musician I want to buy a guitar that was made in Belize or Mexico(not an import). I'd like somthing of average to good quality(not the cheap $30 guitars imported into the US as souvineers) I'm looking for the real thing. The more unique and more hand made, the better. If a guitar is not available, any similar stringed instrument will do. (A Charango would be great, but not sure if they even make them down there). Any help is greatly appreciated.

try a music store. There should be several music stores in Belmopan.
