Have ever seen the Movie The Fast and the furious 1. Where the main character bought a supra from a junkyard and rebuilt it.

I want to do something like that. Because my cousin is going to rebuild his mustang.

I want to do either a supra, eclispe, toyota mr 2, or a an RX-7

  1. From an auto wrecking yard. Like where my Miata ended up after some idiot ran a red light in April. And where it has now likely been restored and sold to someone else.

  2. try ebay

    or a junkyard

  3. Weeelll, I think you start with classified ads.  Have  you thought about a Datsun Z-car?  They're easy to find, and tough.  They rust, though, terribly.

  4. Bad choices for the most part. Mitsubishi Eclipses are very unreliable, as are RX-7s. The Toyota MR2 is reliable and a decent choice. The Supra however would be a rare find in 1993+ years and would be expensive even without an engine or transmission.

Keep in mind also a wrecked car can have chassis alignment issues which will prevent it from driving straight and would cause bad tire life and handling. So while finding a car that was scrapped on account of engine problems isn't all that bad but getting a big metal frame straight? Good luck!
