Where can I buy a laptop online for delivery in the US?

Question

I want to buy a laptop for somebody who is in the USA, and want to do it online using someone who will deliver.

I've tried Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Staples and a few others, but as I'm not in the US, I don't know all the best places to look. Any suggestions? I'm looking to spend no more than $400, so don't want amazing, high spec equipment.

Try www.newegg.com.  Best Buy usually has a labor day sale but I don't think you are going to find a Windows OS laptop for $400.
