Definitely look for your local SCA group - when it comes to authentically researched medieval gear, clothing, and accessories, we have some of the most incredible artisans and crafters around. Note tho, that SCAdians are doing it for a hobby, and as such are great sources of information on how to do it yourself. If you simply want to hire someone to make it for you, then it won't be cheap, but it will be beautiful and well-made, of high quality. Contact somebody from your local SCA chapter (society for creative anachronism).  The seamstress in the guild will be able to make it accurate to the period that you want.
