I am looking for a house in Italy in the Tuscany provance thats is around 400k max so like 350k or something. But this house should be:

1: On the river or near the Ocean or something with a waterfront view

2: I would like a villa with maybe a acre but apartments are nice to

3: It should be a 2 or 3 bedroom house with whatever amounts of bathroomsit should accuire a nice living room and kitchen

4: I dont wanna have to reconstruct it and if possible please find one ready to move into right away but if you cant its okay.

5: The neighborhood should be nice and the house should be nice overall

6: Also if you find one with a vineyard already connected to it so like 10 acres of land with it or 10 hecters please mention that to.

Thank you

  1. If you google "house in Tuscany" you will find so many listings! Italians know that lots of foreign people are interested in having their own "Under the Tuscan sun" life so don't worry, there are plenty of options. By the way, I am amazed to see how just putting the word "Tuscany" to anything here in the US sells.

    Anyway, do your research:

    http://www.tuscanyhouseservice.com/

there are SO many more sites if you use google.

  2. Its going to be really difficult to find something in Tuscany for that price that is not a complete fixer, especially with any kind of ocean view. Tuscany is where anyone with a bright idea of moving to Italy looks for first. If you can expand your scope into other areas that aren't as well known, like Abruzzi or the Marches or Umbria, you'll be rewarded with some great choices, and more "real Italy". Look for smaller coastal towns that aren't tourist oriented. You'll find plenty of inventory.

  3. Ciao, you are asking too much.

Or you find a nice flat in a big city (Torino, Milano,etc..) but you will not be near the sea (no ocean here) .. or you find something near the coast but, usually, prices are high especially for villa.

If you even want something with a garden or similar ... good luck !!

I think you have to choose some cities and visit them .. then you'll decide ; )

  4. Hi!

    I'm from Milan.

Big houses here...are very expensive...because Italy is a very small crowded country.

You have to decide if you are going to buy an house for quite holidays or for fun and programms.

If you are going to buy an house for fun and programms I suggest you the biggest city: Milan or Rome a city still immersed in its history.

If you are going to buy an house for quite holidays Tuscany is very expensive, maybe also sardinia even if It has wonderful beaches.

The south is cheaper but it has less fun: Agropoli, Pompei, Surriento,Ischia,Capri, Positano,Amalfi.

Venice is very very expensive but the neighbournhood not. You can find for good prices in Jesolo, Mestre exc...Chioggia.

Or also in Liguria, which is also characteristic: Nervi, Camogli, Porto Maurizio...Portofino...exc...

    In Tuscany is wonderful Argentario.

I have your same problems!!I'm looking for an house in NY and all is very expensive!

  5. if you have 15times this amount, then I could likely recommend you a deal. Privat beach, nice piece of land and a nice neighborhood with enough living space.

  6. For that price you're probably going to end up getting a flat.  But a nice flat in Milan would give you more of an Italian experience anyway than would a house in the middle of the country.  Try the city with all the quaint shops and restaurants nearby before heading for the hills.
