Where can I buy a plaid skirt?

Question

You know... short,school girl style in bright red, blue, or pink.

But I want a nice, pleated one, NOT a cheap spandex skirt with a plaid print on it.

There are school uniforms supply stores, and I'm sure you'll find it there.  Probably plenty of department stores will carry them, too.

I was at the malls yesterday and those skirts were EVERYWHERE. from

Sears to Walmart, and every store in between. I wondered out loud that the style is back from over 20 years ago and the salesgirl laughed, said the buyers found them in the RTW manufacturer distributors ( where store buyers buy  their stock of the month) a few months ago.

These 2008 school opening offerings are all short mini skirts, pleated, and will look good on a girl with narrow hips and a fair sized bottom. They will look horrible on plumper girls and those with wide hips.
