Where can I buy a pumpkin in late July living in Chicago?

  1. Edible ones are not available yet.  You can get different winter squash that can substitue.  Why do you need a pumpkin?  That will help to know what kind of solution you can get.

    I don't know if they are grown elsewhere.  They are native to Canada and northern USA.

  3. i think you'll have a very hard time.

    they're not ready, and not being harvested yet.

    maybe from S. America, but that's not likely either because they're too heavy to ship -- you can't make a profit on them.
