Where can I buy a record player?

Ones that actually work! I have a bunch of The Kinks records but no record player to actually play them.

  1. Kmart has multiplayers ....Record player, Cd, Cassette, and radio combo for around a hundred dollars.  For a less expensive option try Ebay or a flea market.

        The ones at the big discount retailers will work, and some of them have integrated digitizers that will allow you easily convert your vinyl into mp3s, but if you want a quality turntable, a company called Stanton makes good ones for a fair price.

        That one is 150 bucks.  I've got a similar model and it's absolutely wonderful.  It doesn't seem 'cheap' in any way, and it's got the feel and function of a nice high end electronic component.  

        You might need a "pre-amp" that you plug it into before it goes to the stereo, and you can get them at radio shack for less than 20 bucks.   It boosts the signal up to a level similar to digital sources.

  8. I love RECORDS!!! I also want to buy a record player, and the places i've seen them in is Kmart, and target, but it also plays cds, radio, and i think cassettes (lol) but its nice. And the price isn't too bad either.
