Where can I buy a rice pudding with a nice thick leathery skin ?

my sister-in-law used to swear by tinned rice pudding. She said, 'You just  open the tin, add some milk or single cream, add a drop of vanilla essence, put it in an oven proof dish, sprinkle some nutmeg over it and pop it in the oven. Easy.' Nice leathery skin.
