  1. theyre generic. any dvd drive will fit. they are all made to the same specification regardelss of manufacturer.

    dvd burners are dirt cheap these days. just make sure u get the one u need. there is a new generation of SATA dvd drives out, if your pc is more than a year old or isnt the top of the line then u need an IDE (wide thin cable with one red stripe) or if its sata (small red cable with L shaped fiittings that only fit one way)

    if u instal an ide dvd drive make sure u put the red stipe closest to the power supply for the drive as it wont work the other way.
