  1. I'm assuming you are talking about a Website Template and you will fill in your own information. A good source is http://www.templatemonster.com. If you purchase a template you will get all the source and html files.

Please note: You still will need a website hosting provider.

Some HTML knowledge is needed in order to customize the template.

The draw back: If you don't buy the exclusive rights you might see other people/competitors using exactly the same template.

Hope it helps and good luck.

  2. best places to buy websites

    Sitepoint.com/marketplace

    forums.digitalpoint.com

  3. SitePoint and DigitalPoint forums are good places to start, you can take a look at my offerings at http://www.OnlineBusinessStartups.com

    good luck!

  4. If you buy a website, why would you also need to design it yourself?

In any case, do yourself a favor and check out any website/company before you buy a website. There are many places that sell "cookie-cutter" websites. That just means that they sell hundreds or thousands of sites that are all the same or nearly the same.

Those won't do you much good as the search engines don't like sites that "mirror" other sites. A huge percentage of the sites for sale on ebay are of that type.

Check a company out by searching for the name of the company and the word "reply". That should bring up forum threads (hence the word reply) where people are talking about that companies websites and whether they're good or a ripoff.

If you want to buy an existing, unique site, search for "webmaster forums". Many of them have a sites for sale thread. There are also websites that broker other people's sites. Be careful! It's easy to be taken if you don't know what you're doing. A site that appears to be very popular (and therefore worth a lot of money) may just have lots of links from the owner's other sites. Once you buy the site, he'll remove all those links and your site will die. There are many other pitfalls too.

    Have fun becoming a webmaster!

  5. Try Weebly, there easy to manage free website (or blog) has cool features that include drag and drop capability, switch designs on the fly, youtube and google video, custom html, upload images, flikr photo gallery, visitor stats and more.  You can also buy a new domain instantly, or host your existing domain for free.

If your looking for something more advanced but still user friendly then try CityMax or Site Builder Designs, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.

I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.

  6. Right here on yahoo. You can purchase domain names for like 4 buck for the first year. Then it depends on how much information you have on the website.
