I am in the process of restoring a 50 Ford F1, I am looking for a 239 Flathead V8 or something similar to it. Does anyone know of a place that sells engines; new or rebuilt, assembled or unassembled.

Thanks

  4. Get a hot rod magizine and sometimes the will sell engines or have websites, to order new or rebuilts. Also look on yahoo and type in engines for this type of car.

  5. pull the motor you have and have it rebuilt

  6. Almost every auto salvage yard sells them....

  7. e mail me later. I have a few sites for those early Ford truck parts. Hey , BOB ! why don`t you include the wreckers that still carry 58 year old truck parts? I`m sure the one you worked at didn`t. I think you were "pulling " something other than parts. LOL

  8. I am pulling an old running flathead out of my 1935 Ford sedan soon. I am in San Diego. I may also be willing to sell my 1951 flathead (built by Crower Cams back in the day) out of my 1947 Mercury coupe.
