I mean the bacillus that make sour yogurt, they look like cottage cheese and have to be fed with fresh milk?I have not seen this at Whole Foods.I don't want to use a batch of yogurt to make more yogurt.Thank you.

I have bacilli. I make my own yogurt. I cannot find enough people who want them. It does come with a comittment. It is like having a pet. They are alive! They were gifted to me. And I want to gift in return. Ask friends and family if they know anyone. Or you can try to start your own. Just don't change your yogurt right away. Keep it wrapped in towels and wait 3 or 4 days. The bacilli will eventually grow into white brainy bacteria. That is the live culture. But once you have them they grow and reproduce. Then you can't gift them fast enough!
