Where can I buy cheap flip flops...(for a bday craft)?

Hi for my birthday I want to decorate flip flops..I invited about 18 people so i want to get soild colored flip flops to decorate..I am trying to find a place where i can get flip flops for a dollor or under? any ideas or other good crafts to do? (im a teen)

If there's a Hobby Lobby in your area I'd try there.  They also have them on sale half price often.

One cute craft you can do with flip-flops is get some yarn/decorative string/whatever and tie it around the top part of the flip-flops. There is a specific way to do it so it stays on, but I don't know how. You could probably find it on the internet with a little intuitive searching. A friend of mine did hers with our school colors and they're really cute. Another thing to do would be to get some cheap-o, like, rhinestone-type things from the craft store and glue those onto the straps.

I have no idea if they have them in your area, but in my city, we have Hobby Lobby, the best craft store ever. They have a whole section for crafts to do with flip-flops, very inexpensive stuff, but cute. Definitely what you're looking for.

But then again, you might not have one near you. The only other big craft store I can think of is Michaels. It's pretty much Hobby Lobby, in fact I was there the other day and I saw some cheap flip-flops that would be suitable for craftmaking. So...yeah.

Other than that, you could just try the local dollar store. Or Wal-Mart. They should have cheap-o flip-flops there, especially as the summer is coming to a close and the summer wear is going on sale.

Of course, Old Navy has excellent (In my opinion) flip-flops, but those are for around $5 a pair, so that's probably too much of a splurge on a tight budget.

Go to the dollar store, Walmart had them on clearance for $1.  Check any discount store in your area.
