Where can I buy chicken/turkey bacon in Sydney, Australia?

I love bacon, but don;t eat pork, and I've been unable to find chicken bacon anywhere in Sydney.

I had only heard of this recently when my father took up an offer to work for a Hotel chain in in Saudi, and he advised me of this meat and how tasty it was! Back in Australia he had a brief search for chicken bacon AND beef bacon, but was unable to source it as it is not considered to be needed here in a nation who loves their real bacon!

Try speaking with a Halal butcher, or a Kosher butcher who may be aware of importing the product (you never know, they may have a personal stash!) or type in buy chicken bacon in a search engine, and see if you can buy it online!

I would suggest the David Jones foodhall in Bondi Junction, with the large Jewish community in the area they carry a lot of specialist foods cater to that market

It is proberbly available in a Halal butcher. Try looking in the suburb of Granville, Lakemba, Bankstown etc (anywhere theres lots of Lebanese)
