There used to be a very gothic kinda clothes shop in the Arcade that connects Bourke Street to Collins Street in the city, the arcade with the Gog and Magog clock statues. Don't know if it's still there, but could be worth a look.

Chapel Street in Prahran could also have some good shops for you. The "Chapel Street Bazaar" shop on that street has a huge collection of wierd stuff clothes-wise.
