Where can I buy foreign magazines?

Question

I live in a reasonably large city (Edmonton, Canada), and I'm trying to find a place that sells foreign magazines. I've been to Chapters/Indigo, and the enly foreign magazines they sell are in French and Italian. I'm looking for some in German (der Spiegel, Focus, etc).

Any ideas where I can check (I'd rather not get them online)?

I would have thought Chapters would have them...

You can subscribe to them... Newstands, or (I've never been to Edmonton but I'm hoping they have these places...) like they have "Little Italy" or "China Town" maybe they have.... "German Town" or something.. a neighbourhood with shops and that has a very high German population.. chances are, there's German magazines sold there because the majority of the people living in the ethnic neighbourhoods speak a different language along with english.

I know that where I live, we have a Finnish neighbourhood with multiple shops and they sell Fin magazines... I've never bought one, but they're there.
