Where can I buy furnature quality wood in Denver?

Question

I want to make some furniture, but I can't find a good source of quality wood like oak. I have looked at Home Depot and Lowe's but their selection sucks. I have tried googling it, but I just get a bunch of flooring retailers. Please help.

Go talk to these guys or just hang out there for a while and you'll meet some woodworkers with connections.

Call up lumberyards and exotic wood stores.

You are right to look elsewhere.
