Where can I buy hydrogen peroxide 6%?

Question

I want to whiten my teeth by making a paste but I need the 6% peroxide. I'm only finding the 3% everywhere. Can anyone tell me where I can get the 6% to buy. Thank you. I live in Queens NY but I can travel to anywhere.

this is a bad idea.  Hydrogen peroxide liquid is not make to go in your mouth for long periods of time.  The other 97% of the solution is not the same as the other 97% of a gel that is made for yoru teeth is.  Even if you found 6% you wouldn't be able to get it to stay in place, the paste would be wiped off immediately by your tongue, lips, cheek and get all over the place which could result in damage to the gums or other tissues in your mouth.  Even with a gel like from the dentist you need trays to put the gel in in order to hold the peroxide gel on your teeth and stop the spit from making it run all over the place.  If you want to do something cheap get whitestrips and don't try experimenting with various household chemicals that are not meant for teeth

OK...tell you what. As a person who has been in the dental field for over 40 years and has made an effort to expose inflated fees and unprofessional treatment of patients, I have no qualms about telling it like it is and so it will be with you my friend...Forget the 6% hydrogen peroxide...if it were hands down safe to use in the manner you want to use it, it would be available on every drug store counter....The fact it's not should be your guide as to why not to attempt to use it....Increased strength of medications and other health products are only available through those persons who are trained to use them safely...and I suspect you are not in that category....If you used it and ruined your teeth would you find a shyster lawyer and attempt to sue the manufacturer...many people would in spite of the decision to use the product was theirs alone.....So "be Smart". and "be Safe"....Use OTC tooth whitening products or have your DDS provide you with what you need...Good luck and I wish you well.

I would suggest looking it up on the internet and buying it there. I hear that 6% is hard to come by.

Usually for teeth whitening you should go to a dentist....Though Hydrogen peroxide can be found in medical stores, for it is used as an anti-septic....You may also find them in hair salons, Though they may be stronger then 6%.
