My mother has to stay in hotels and B&Bs due to work but they never have soy milk. Does anyone know where I can buy small individual cartons she can take with her? They have them everywhere in Asia but I can't find them in the UK.

  1. I live in PA and shop at Giant.  In their vegetarian/organic section they have 4 packs of soy milk.  They look similar to juice boxes and there are like 2 or 3 different brands to choose from.

They are soy milk, not cream and they are great for traveling.  I take them with me when I know I am going someplace that won't have soy milk.  I always take them with me when I go to Bob Evans.  I eat the oatmeal, which is great.

  2. I live in Minnesota and they have a huge cub foods with a huge section just for vegans/vegetarians that I shop at. They have small cartons of Soy Milk there like the cartons of milk at school. Hopefully you can find something :)

  3. tescos have them but in 2 pint cartons

  4. You can buy cute little cartons of alpro soya dream from the long life section in the supermarket, it's not soy milk it's soy cream though.  Makes a nice cream tea and doesn't curdle in coffee.  They'd fit in a hotel room fridge too.  ETA wouldn't be great on cereal though, and there wouldnt be enough in the carton.

I've seen little cartons of normal soy milk in my local chinese supermarket, do you have one of them?

  5. Well, if she ever comes to the States, Trader Joes, Wild Oats, or just about any other health food store, or health food section in any market.

  6. mini alpro soya cartons, 250ml come with a straw, is that the kind of thing you mean?

They come in unflavoured, as well as a banana, chocolate, and strawberry flavour.

You can buy them from tescos, sainsburys, waitrose, morrisons, somerfield, holland and barrat's, and several other health food stores.

  7. Hi

Here is the link for cartons of soy milk

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&...

    Hope this helps.

  8. Some Holland & Barretts may sell the individual cartons, but not all do.

Try other health/whole food shops; that's where I get mine. Often they will order things in for you if they don't currently have them.

  9. Hi jenny, i think you can buy smaller cartons in Holland and Barrett stores.  I know they do soya milk shakes in small cartons but i am sure I've seen plain soya aswell.

Would it be possible for your mum to take a very small flask filled with soy milk if she can't find the small cartons.

This might be an option, I have tried the powdered soya milk, but would be easier for you mum. You can get it from this website.

  10. i have not seen small containers of soya milk, only litre cartons of it, maybe you can buy small containers, and decant the milk into smaller containers, like 1s you decant shampoo etc to take on holiday, its  just an idea. also she could ring in advance and ask them to get soya milk in for her.
