Question:

Where can I buy individually packaged tapestry needles?

I'm trying to find a company that sells individually packaged tapestry needles--like the ones that come in cross-stitch kits. I'm looking specifically for the individually packaged needles, not needles that come in a multi-pack. I've tried searching, but have had no luck. Any ideas?

  1. Needlework shops usually have packages of each size of needle. Most of the time there are 3 to 5 needles in each package of the same size.

I do know you can't get them at stores like Hobby Lobby. (WalMartism at its worst: declaring what we shall buy!)

Try the yarn shops in your area, not the big crafts stores.

  2. I don't know where you live but have you tried a Joanne's Craft store, maybe a Michael's? If not that a quilting store of some kind in your area, and if that does not work try to get them over the internet. Look up Stitchery Clubs and they can lead you in the right direction as well.

  3. Dritz sells 2- packs of them that are the same size.

They should be sold at most of the numerous places that carry Dritz notions. Or, you can order them from JoAnn's from the link above.
