  1. Trader Joe's is the only non-ethnic store I've found with good Middle Eastern food, and since the others aren't chains I assume there's the best chance of you having a local Trader Joe's (especially since it was founded in California.)

I'm not sure where you can find falafel mix and lavash, but it definitely has pita, olives, etc.

  2. Abadan Market is a Middle Eastern market close to downtown LB. They have a great selection of foods. You can even get Persian ice cream.

    402 E 3rd St

  3. Abadan market on 3rd in Long Beach has been taken over by someone else.  It had incredible products but it no longer exists. That is the reason I am asking this question.  Yes, I am the one asking this ? so I am now looking for a similiar market in the area and NO Trader Joe's does not carry these same items. Believe me I go there every week and have been shopping there since the 80's.  The closest to Abadan is the one listed  in Torrance on PCH.  I miss my Morrocan olives!

  4. Whole Foods & Trader Joe's also carry many of the products

    Shayan Market

3801 Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance, CA 90505

    SUPER KING MARKET
