Where can I buy mounting brackets for door speakers?

I bought a pair of kicker SSMB6 6.5" speakers for my doors. They didn't come with mounting brackets because they are supposed to fit in the stock locations but my car is Swedish (99 SAAB 9-5) and the stock mounting bracket is slightly smaller (metric maybe?) and I can't get my speakers to fit in them at all.

Almost any of your car audio dealers should be able to help you find the right product for your car to mount speakers in your door. Or you could always have your local car audio dealer build a costume fitting kit and put it all in your car.

Just make them out of MDF

Go to a store that deals in audio equipment only. They should have what you are looking for. Or maybe try your nearest Radio Shack Store. As they always say... "You've got questions... We've got answers." That seems to be their favorite slogan anyway. So I would try Radio Shack.
