A lot of theaters give them away when they are done showing the films, especially the smaller theaters. Try asking around.

I buy mine from moviemarket.com, really cheap prices, you can choose sizes, many of the posters are printed on fujifilm paper; so it has that nice glossy texture, and best of all they arrive within the week

E-Bay; however, the best free or cheap way would be to establish a good relationship with a manager of a theater or video store and you can likely get one for cheap if not free.
