Where can I buy organic ethanol?

Do any gasoline retailers sell ethanol or ethanol gasoline blend thats made from organically grown corn? I was thinking it was pointless to use green fuels that were not manufactured using green technology.

I saw  a search engine that looks them up by state. It seems the nearest distributors to me are about 85 miles away. We need to either invest for ourselves in the equipment, or join together into co-ops to satisfy the need on a small scale. I asked my local gas station if they would consider switching out their high test expensive gas for e-85, and they LAUGHED at me!

I don't know of any organic corn growers that like ethanol much less would sell their crop for such (plus they get far more selling food grade corn than they would get selling it for fool fuel). The USDA NOP does not certified ethanol so there is no such thing as certified organic ethanol.

personally I think this ethanol deal is the best place to use GMO corn. Let engines eat this c**p, not animals. leave the good stuff (organic) for food.

Most organic growers believe the ethanol deal is a real boondoggle and that corn should be grown for food not fuel. Drive less, ride a bike, use mass transit, buy locally. these are all ways to conserve fuel which we must do. We also must change how we think about energy use in the long run. We must have a new paradigm and have it now.

This would be a pointless exercise in hairsplitting.  The reduction of petroleum usage by organically grown corn ethanol would be more than offset by the simple expedient of slowing down highway driving by 5MPH or even less.  Its not absolutely mandatory spend money needlessly on symbolic "green living" stunts.

Why not go 100% hydrogen and save at both ends.  No need to buy gas and no pollution.
