Where can I buy paraffin in London?

I need to buy paraffin today because I am going camping for New Year's eve and my lamp is out of fuel. Where can I get some today in London? I need to know quickly - BP apparently do have a brand of paraffin, but would they sell it a petrol station?

If you have an old paraffin heater, modern paraffin will clog the wick. You should be able to get the stuff at a petrol outlet. Not a supermarket station.

It may be cheaper to buy a gas light and a spare tin of gas.

Try diy shops they sell it in the gardening section at this time of year, for paraffin heaters etc.
