Years ago, my then boyfriend bought me pepper spray on a

convenient key chain. I have no idea where he bought it.

Alas, I lost my pepper spray/key chain a year ago and want to know where I can purchase another one in the Mpls./St.Paul area.

You can purchase pepper spray at Uniforms Unlimited in Minneapolis.  The store specializes in outfitting police, security, and medical personnel - though everyone is welcome to shop there.

The store sells a couple brands of pepper spray - though I recommend the Spitfire brand for a few reasons.  The device is ergonomically designed to allow you to accurately spray over your shoulder at an attacker that is behind you.  The spray canister is discreetly enclosed within a colored plastic case, and is attached to a key ring.  While a key is in car ignition, the canister can easily be yanked apart from key ring for instant use.  And the device has an excellent safety mechanism to prevent accidental misfire.
