  1. If you're looking for a localised agency with properties Catalunya, Valencia, Andorra, or Ibiza and that pretty much speaks all languages: English, French, German, Italian, Catalan, Spanish, Polish, Dutch and Russian. The best thing is when I rented with them, they guided me through the whole process and in plain english. They also give legal and mortgage advice so you can make an informed decision [they're not pushing a contract on you just because it gets them the most commission].

Spanish agencies call back late and really treat you like a meal ticket. So... go with a company that actually cares!

Spanish contracts are pretty easy if you understand the language or have done it once. So, having someone there to go over it with you and explain it in your language without looking for words and getting it wrong.. I'd recommend Lucas Fox. They've 3 offices in Spain and have strategic alliances with other companies... If they can't help they have connections to those who can. When making a choice of a lifetime, you can't afford to get it wrong... so go with someone who can hand hold you as much as possible.
