First find week-end Markets as there are always several in most cities and they usually have lots of software to sell for prices far less then a retail store.

The first time you go, buy only one or two items and check them out at home. If they are fine then put that dealer on your "good list" and go back for more.

And don't forget to negotiate a good price. That is expected and  can be fun too.
