Question:

Where can I buy some cheap curtains?

I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am moving in a couple weeks and I want to go with curtains instead of blinds.

I am hoping to just walk into a store and buy some pre-made ones (does Wal-Mart sell any?) that sort of match my measurement (I'd like them a little bigger anyways) Are there any known stores that sell curtains? Will they be expensive?

If I have to get them custom made, will that be really expensive? Where can I get them made?

Thank you.

  1. Yes, Walmart has ready curtains, so does stores like Target, Kmart, Linens n Things and most home stores. Hope you hv these stores in Canada. Walmart will be yr most economical choice.

  2. Maybe hobbylobby will have the fabric. and Jo ann's Fabric will def. have the curtain fabric. You might have to get them made. dont think it will be expensive.

  3. WalMart is good   Also try Home Depot or Lowes

  4. I don't shop in Canada, but in the US, discount stores like Target and K-Mart sell ready-made curtains with tab-tops that slide over any size curtain rod. (You got rods?) They come in standard widths which let the curtain be somewhat full over a variety of window sizes.

Most are 84 inches long, so you may need to shorten them if that won't work.

  5. you can buy cheap and good curtains at this website

this store has curtains already made and you can get them in any size you want and they have the lowest prices youll ever find on curtains

custom made curtains are really expensive

its like 2,000 dollors just for a simple one but for a fansy one its like 5,000 dollors

    its really expensive

  6. Bouclair is having a sale, 40% off blinds and curtains.  They have some organza curtains, kinda see thru though.  but very cheap 9.99$ for 2 panels.  All you need is the thin rods(for the cafe style curtains, I saw some that are 5.99$.  If you are willing to pay a bit more, they have some 39.99$ curtains, 40% off so they about 23$ plus tax but you'll need poles.  Those don't really come cheap, they are around 60$ but you can use only one for a big window they expand to 94" I think.

Go to Bouclair they have lots of choices and different price points, look in the clearance bins too, you might find some that were really expansive to much cheaper.

They also have pillows to match for like 14.99$
