Where can I buy some nice champagne in Delhi, preferably veuve cliquot?

I can point you in the direction of Moet et Chandon in Goa but am unsure about Veurve Cliquot in Delhi, the idea about asking the hotel seems good to me. Alternatively (its risky though) go to the website gumtree, look at the travellers section and get in touch with someone who is going to India, and make them an offer to bring the bubbly over.

This might not be the perfect answer to your question but I can recommend a decent wine shop which MIGHT have what you are looking for. This place is part of the government run alcohol store in GKII, right behind (or within, but further back) in what was the Savitri Cinema complex right by Outer Ring Road.

I'd go ino one of the 5* hotels and ask for one,even if they're not allowed to do it slip afew roupes tip into their hands and they'll do it on the sly,I guarantee it.
