Here is a link to what they look like: http://www.delviesplastics.com/badge%20pins.htm

I only need one or two, but where can I go to buy these without having to order in bulk on the Internet.

  1. I don't know when this was originally posted, but I am looking for a few magnetic name tags too.  I just came from both Hobby Lobby and Staples.  Neither place had even HEARD of them!  I saw a whole array of magnetic strips at Hobby Lobby that I had used to make fridge magnets, but not the name tag magnets that were described to me as "being everywhere" in stores.  Not true!  I think I may try to fashion some out of the stciky magnet strips at HL.

  2. Check office supply stores like Staples or Office Depot. They should have some in a pack of a dozen or less.

  3. The small round extra strong magnets are available at many hardware stores and one of Michaels or Hobby Lobby, but I don't remember which (HL more likely) altho some places only have the black disk magnets.

The easiest thin steel to glue to something is a steel connector plate 1/2" x 2" with two holes in hardware stores but in the hobby stores you may find thinner steel plates for some purpose.

  4. Check here:

You will find what you like!

    Good luck!
