Where can I buy train tickets in Bangkok ?

Question

I have to buy 2 tickets from Bangkok to Hua Hin with reserved seats. Where can i do that ?

Only in the Railway Station or also elsewhere ? Have I to pay additional fees ? Thank you ?

At any state railway station in Thailand.

Also you can puchase them on line, I typed in " state rail Thailand " on google and found a place that for about $27 plus $10 postage  you can have yor tickets sent to you by Post

The answers given above me are correct, but I like to add I did this once too and never again.  It took like 4 to 5 hours to get there.  Bus takes 2 and half hours.  The train had to stop 4 or 5 times to let other trains past and you had to wait for periods of 20 to 30 minutes.

The service is EXTREMELY slow, but cheap.
