My fiance will be returning stateside from his tour in Iraq. Does anyone know where I can buy some extra large iron-on letters to put onto a banner? I would like the letters to be large enough to be visible from the roadside when they enter the base. Thank you!

  1. If you feel confident, you could just paint the lettering on the banner. That way you could personalize it a little more, with flourishes, or what-have-you?

Another possibility is using iron-on transfer paper with your ink jet printer. If a letter as large as 8 1/2 by 11 inches is big enough, that's another way to make your letters.

  2. If you don't mind perfection, I would go out and buy a roll of butcher paper which comes in 2' widths and spray paint you loving message on it.

I salute your fiance and all the others who are sacrificing their lives to spread freedom around the world.

  3. I saw a whole c**p load of them at Michaels.

  4. Jo Ann fabrics Super Store. You can all so make  and cut out your own letter patches if you buy some "heat n Bond" sheets at $4.00 and the material  at 60% off  or red tag sale.

This way you can make them as large as you like.
